Clayton Hotel Cork City is a modern hotel with welcoming charm. Like its rooms, the 4-star hotel’s entrance has a classy yet relaxed vibe that sets the tone for your stay. You can walk from the Clayton Hotel to many of Cork City’s top attractions without the typical noise of staying in a city center. It’s located next to the River Lee, and the streets around it are pretty tame. Tequila Jack’s Mexican Restaurant serves phenomenal Mexican food and drinks, and is less than a minute’s walk away – that detail made Chris exceptionally pleased.

Our room at Clayton Hotel Cork City

Our room was lovely, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The cozy bed was perfect for snuggling in after a day of exploring. Our room featured a bath, desk, comfortable seating, and plenty of storage space. It was incredibly comfortable and a wonderful place to call home for our city break in Cork.
Drinks and Dining

Breakfast at the hotel was fantastic, offering a variety of hot and cold options. We fueled up on a delicious spread before heading out to explore Cork. The on-site bar and restaurant are also great options for evening dining or a nightcap without leaving the comfort of the hotel.
As I mentioned before, there was a fantastic Mexican restaurant nearby. If you’ve read many Chris + Melissa posts or watched our videos, you know how much Chris loves Mexican food. We did not have a chance to try out the hotel’s restaurant for dinner. Given how much we enjoyed breakfast, I’d wager that the restaurant’s dinner is delightful.
