Ranking Disney’s Royal Dining Experiences: Our Girls’ Trip Verdict

We haven’t tried every royal dining experience at Walt Disney World yet, but my granddaughter Audi and I have now checked three off our list. Two—Cinderella’s Royal Table and Be Our Guest—are inside Magic Kingdom. The third, 1900 Park Fare, is at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

This was also the first Disney Girls’ Trip my daughter was able to join, which made it extra special. Be Our Guest was her first royal dining experience, and while she loved it, she had no comparison point. So, the ranking came down to Audi and me. After a serious discussion 🌟😊👑, here’s how our list shook out.

1. Cinderella’s Royal Table

Cinderella’s Royal Table swept us away. From the moment we posed for photos with Cinderella on the castle’s main level to the warm welcome upstairs—our server greeted Audi with “Princess, welcome back to your castle”—we felt like royalty.

The food matched the magic. Our steaks were perfectly cooked, and I adored the Castle Salad (romaine, Brussels sprouts, goat cheese, and seasonal vegetables with a Green Goddess dressing). Audi declared the meal her favorite of the three experiences.

As for character interactions, they couldn’t have been better. Sleeping Beauty, Ariel, Jasmine, and Merida each stopped by for photos and conversations, adding sparkle to every course.

Travel Tip: If you’re staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, you can make dining reservations up to 60 days before your check-in date. Book this one early—it sells out fast.

At the time of writing, the prix fixe menu is $88 per adult and $52 per child (plus tax and gratuity), and payment is required at booking.

2. 1900 Park Fare

My plate at Walt Disney World Olrando Grand Floridian's 1900 Park Fare' brunch. There is a cup with strawberry soup, topped with a strawberry and a floating scoop of whipped cream, eggs benedict, a small straight piece of breakfast pizza, a Mickey Mouse waffle with a dollop of butter on it, and a small metal ramekin with maple syrup.

Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare is a character dining experience worth savoring. The buffet is expansive, ranging from omelets to gummy bears, but two standouts are the famous Grand Floridian Strawberry Soup and the Croissant Breakfast Pizza. Audi’s favorite? Mickey waffles, of course.

The highlight wasn’t the food, though—it was the princesses. Tiana is Audi’s absolute favorite, and when she arrived at our table, she told Audi, “Looking at you is just like looking into a mirror.” Audi was so star-struck she forgot everything Tiana said and had to rely on me to recount it later. It’s a moment I’ll cherish forever.

Other characters, including Mirabel, Aladdin, and Snow White, also spent a generous time engaging with her. Everyone was given a Wishing Star and encouraged to make a wish. For a morning full of laughter, magic, and plenty of hugs, 1900 Park Fare delivered beautifully.

At the time of writing, the breakfast buffet is $58 per adult and $37 per child, plus tax and gratuity.

3. Be Our Guest

Enchanted Rose in Beast's West Wing Study at the Be Our Guest dining experience.

Be Our Guest offers one of the most spectacular dining atmospheres at Walt Disney World—especially if you’re seated in the grand ballroom or the dramatic West Wing. We dined in the Rose Gallery, which was charming, but not quite as magical as Cinderella’s castle.

Service was wonderful. The host who escorted us to our table stayed completely in character, and our server was attentive and kind. Audi loved the fruit and cheese appetizer on the kids’ menu, which reminded her of something out of Ratatouille (trés French). The adorable Chip cup served with her Dessert Duo charmed us all.

The adult menu leans heavily French, with appetizers like Escargot and Tuna Tartare and entrées such as Short Rib Beef Bourguignon, Steak Frites, and Poulet Rouge Chicken. I ordered the Grilled Filet Mignon. My daughter opted for the Short Rib Beef Bourguignon. We both chose French Onion Soup for our appetizer, and all three of us found it a delectably cozy antidote to the rain we’d come in from. We shared with Audi.

The children’s menu entree options were less inspired. Audi chose chicken strips over short ribs or shrimp. She brightened at her “Château Shimmer” drink, served in a light-up souvenir cup.

For dessert, my daughter chose the Crème Brûlée Tart, while I opted for the Blooming Rose chocolate cake topped with the famous “Grey Stuff.” Both desserts were delicious.

At the time of our visit, the prix fixe menu was $72 per adult and $43 per child (plus tax and gratuity). It’s a splurge, but worth considering if you have a Beauty and the Beast fan in your family.

Our Final Take

All three experiences had something to love—an unforgettable princess interaction, a standout dish, or a magical setting. Still, Audi and I agree: if you can only choose one royal dining experience, make it Cinderella’s Royal Table. It delivers on both atmosphere and flavor, and makes you feel like absolute royalty inside the castle walls.

If you’re as food-obsessed as we are, the royal dining experiences are just the beginning. From themed restaurants inside the parks to resort dining that feels like its own adventure, Disney knows how to make meals memorable.
